The big news this week is the Bank of Canada held the interest rate at 5% which was no surprise. Some speculate that rate cuts could be cut as early as June, however only time will tell. Here's the article for further info. Whenever they do cut the rate we can expect "pent up demand" to jump off the fence. For small markets like Whistler, a slight bump in demand can cause multiple offers on record low inventory of properties for sale. I can't predict the future, however I know whats going on now...a stress free buying experience.
